Top Music Festivals in Delray Beach: Your 2026 South Florida Guide

Known affectionately as the "Village by the Sea," Delray Beach has become a cornerstone of the South Florida culture scene. While Miami often steals the spotlight with Art Basel, Delray Beach offers a more intimate yet equally electric atmosphere for music lovers. In 2026, the city is set to host an incredible lineup of events that blend tropical coastal vibes with world-class entertainment. Whether you are a local or a visitor traveling from Miami-Dade or Broward, this guide covers the absolute best music festival Delray Beach has to offer.

For event organizers looking to streamline their planning or vendors seeking to secure a spot at these high-traffic events, Unite Worldwide provides the all-in-one platform needed to manage logistics and applications seamlessly in the competitive South Florida market.

1. South Florida Garlic Fest 2026

Returning to its roots at Old School Square in the heart of Downtown Delray, the 27th annual South Florida Garlic Fest (February 28 – March 1, 2026) is more than just a culinary event—it is a premier Delray Beach music festival. Known as "The Best Stinkin' Party in South Florida," this year’s headliner is the 90s alternative rock icon Spin Doctors. The event features a massive main stage, a "Gourmet Alley" of garlic-infused treats, and over 100 artisan vendors. Expect a high-energy crowd and a mix of rock, blues, and funk across two days.

2. Delray Tribute Fest

Mark your calendars for November 27–28, 2026, for the inaugural Delray Tribute Fest at the Old School Square Amphitheatre. This Thanksgiving weekend event celebrates the legends of American music. The 2026 lineup includes world-class tribute acts for Gloria Estefan (fitting for our bilingual South Florida community), Billy Joel, Steely Dan, and Journey. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the cool November "Florida Winter" breeze while dancing to classic hits.

3. Art & Jazz on the Avenue

This signature street festival transforms different neighborhoods of Delray Beach three times a year. In 2026, look for dates in February (West Atlantic Avenue), May (Beachside), and July (Pineapple Grove). Art & Jazz on the Avenue brings live jazz, R&B, and soulful vibes to the streets, accompanied by live mural painting and local food vendors. It is one of the best music festivals in Delray Beach for those who enjoy a walkable, community-centric environment.

4. Summer Sunset Concert Series

If you find yourself in the Palm Beaches during the tropical summer months, the Summer Sunset Concert Series at the Old School Square Amphitheatre is a must. Held on the 4th Friday of June, July, and August, these FREE events feature high-energy tribute bands. The 2026 schedule includes tributes to Coldplay and a special "Party in Paradise" tribute to Jimmy Buffett, honoring the local trop-rock legend who frequently visited the area.

5. Delray Beach St. Patrick’s Day Festival

On March 14, 2026, Atlantic Avenue turns green for the 56th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade concludes at Old School Square for a four-hour festival featuring the Dublin Fire Brigade Pipe Band and U2 tribute performances. The atmosphere is family-friendly, but the local pubs like Tim Finnegans keep the music going late into the night with traditional Celtic sessions.

6. Delray Marketplace Music Fest

Located slightly west, the Delray Marketplace Music Fest offers a consistent local music fix. Every Wednesday from October through April 2026, local artists perform at the marketplace amphitheater near Burt & Max’s. It’s a great spot for those looking for a mid-week musical escape without the downtown parking hassle.

Pro Tips for Navigating Delray Events

• Arrive Early: For events at Old School Square, the nearby parking garage on NE 1st St fills up fast. Arrive by 5 PM to catch a spot.
• Stay Hydrated: Even in February, the South Florida humidity can be intense. Most festivals are "rain or shine," so bring a light poncho just in case of a tropical afternoon shower.
• Bilingual Vibes: Many festivals feature Latin American food trucks—don't miss the arepas and empanadas that reflect our rich cultural tapestry.
• VIP Upgrades: For a more comfortable experience, look for VIP tickets which often include reserved seating and a dedicated bar, especially at the Delray Beach florida music festival series.
