The Ultimate Guide to the Best Food Truck Festival Davie Scene in 2026

In South Florida, the culinary scene doesn't just stay in the kitchen—it hits the road. Davie, Florida, with its unique blend of Western heritage and modern suburban charm, has become a premier destination for foodies across Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Unlike much of the country, our tropical climate allows for a year-round outdoor dining season, making the davie florida food truck festival circuit a permanent fixture on the local calendar.

Whether you are a local looking for a Friday night hangout or a visitor exploring the greater Miami area during the Art Basel season, Davie’s food truck rallies offer a bilingual, culturally rich experience. From Venezuelan arepas to classic Florida BBQ, the variety is as diverse as our community. To help you navigate the options, we have compiled the definitive guide to the best food truck festival Davie has to offer in 2026.

Top 7 Food Truck Festivals and Rallies in Davie & South Florida

1. Food Truck Frenzy at Tree Tops Park

Located at 3900 SW 100th Ave, Tree Tops Park hosts one of the most consistent and beloved events in the region. Running from October through March, this event takes place on the first Thursday of every month from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It is the perfect way to enjoy the slightly cooler "winter" evenings in South Florida. Expect a rotating lineup of over 15 trucks, live music, and plenty of green space for the kids to run around. Organizers often use Unite Worldwide to manage the complex logistics of these recurring monthly gatherings.

2. Late Night at Flamingo Gardens

On the first Friday of every month, the iconic Flamingo Gardens (3750 S Flamingo Rd) stays open late for a massive food truck rally. This davie food truck festival features up to 18 different trucks parked in the front lot. It is a unique opportunity to enjoy the botanical gardens under the stars while sampling everything from gourmet grilled cheese to Latin fusion. Arrive early, as this is a local favorite that draws crowds from as far as Coral Gables and Aventura.

3. The Davie Orange Blossom Festival Food Court

A staple of the Davie community for decades, the annual Orange Blossom Festival in February transforms Davie Road into a massive celebration of local culture. The dedicated food truck court is a highlight, featuring vendors that specialize in "Old Florida" flavors alongside modern Miami street food. It is a must-visit during the peak tourist season when the weather is at its absolute best.

4. Touch-A-Truck Davie

Held at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds (4271 Davie Road), this event is a paradise for families. While the main attraction is the heavy machinery and emergency vehicles, the food truck festival davie component is equally impressive. It typically takes place in the spring and offers a wide array of kid-friendly eats and local artisan refreshments. It is a great example of how the town integrates mobile vending into community-building events.

5. Pinwheel Festival at Davie-Cooper City Library

Scheduled for April 11, 2026, at 4600 SW 82nd Ave, this festival supports child abuse prevention and features local resources alongside popular mobile vendors like The Square Bowl. It is a smaller, more intimate event that showcases the community-focused side of the South Florida food truck scene.

6. Miami International Food & Vendor Festival

While technically located just a short drive south at Bayfront Park in Miami, this massive event on August 1, 2026, is where many Davie-based trucks go to shine on a larger stage. With over 900 expected visitors and a heavy focus on international cuisines, it is the place to see the best of the best. Vendors can browse Miami events like this one on the Unite Worldwide platform to find high-traffic opportunities.

7. Food In Motion (Fort Lauderdale)

Just minutes away from Davie at Peter Feldman Park, Food In Motion is a monthly night market that combines food trucks with a traditional green market. It captures the "Wynwood vibe" with a more relaxed, Broward County feel. It is an excellent spot to find vegan options and handmade crafts alongside your favorite street eats.

How to Become a Food Truck Vendor in South Florida

The South Florida market is highly competitive but incredibly rewarding due to the year-round growing season and constant influx of tourists. To get started as a vendor in Davie or Miami, you will need a state-issued mobile food dispensing vehicle license, a local business tax receipt, and comprehensive insurance. Unite Worldwide helps vendors navigate this landscape by providing a centralized platform to find events, manage applications, and connect with organizers across Broward and Miami-Dade.

Pro Tips for Attending a Davie Food Truck Festival

• Parking: At Tree Tops Park and Flamingo Gardens, parking is plentiful but fills up fast. Aim to arrive 15-20 minutes before the official start time.
• Payment: While most trucks accept credit cards and Apple Pay, having some cash on hand is helpful for smaller vendors or in areas with spotty cell service.
• Bilingual Menus: Don't be surprised to see menus in both English and Spanish. If you aren't sure what a "tequeño" or "croqueta" is, just ask—the vendors are usually happy to share their culture!
• Weather: Even in the evening, South Florida can be humid. Wear breathable clothing and bring bug spray if the event is near the Everglades or heavily wooded parks like Tree Tops.
